The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology was established in the year 1959 and Post Graduate course was started in the year 1972, since then it is functioning efficiency till date. Presently Dr. A. P. Somkuwar is Professor and Head, accompanied by Dr. R. P. Limsay, Assistant Professor, Dr. A. R. Sawarkar, Assistant Professor and Dr. Sonal Dubey, Assistant Professor and Dr. Swati Umap, Assistant Professor as academic staff member. Till date about 81 & 02 students have completed their M.V.Sc. and Ph.D .from the department, respectively.
